Dream Of Home Ownership By Tassapat Sripetcharakool

One of the biggest joys in life is owning your own home.  The dream of staking ones claim, of owning a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.  Something to call our own, to hang our hats on; our home is where our hearts are, where we dream, where we watch our children grow.

Anybody can buy a home, they just need to structure their financial-life, accordingly. A prospective buyer needs stable employment & consistent income so they can manage their debts and begin to save money.
This is the first step in the process of buying a home.

Buying or renting is a common debate that in most cases comes down to individual preference. However, if you examine the numbers closely there really is no comparison, from a financial standpoint.

Take, for example, the scenario of two 30year olds – one who buys a home with a 30 year mortgage, and one who decides to rent over the next 30 years. Both are paying $2000 per month.  The “renter” at the end of 30 years will have nothing, nada, zip.

Also, at $2000 per month, the “renter” will have already paid $750,000 in rent to his Landlord. $750,000!!
However in the case of the”buyer” things look drastically different at the end of 30 years. The “buyer” has also had to pay $2000 month in and month out, and has also had to cover additional costs compared to the “renter” such as taxes, insurance, repairs, etc. However at the end of thirty years the “buyer” owns a home, it is theirs and nobody can take it away from them.

Unlike the renter whose money has more or less evaporated over the years, the “buyer” has a tangible asset to show. A negotiable asset that will help enable them to eventually retire and plan their future. It is a fact that 89% of Americans use the equity in their homes to facilitate their retirement.

The piece of mind that comes with the accomplishment of owning a home is unmatched. In this crazy world, your home is a little piece of sanity. It is your place to relax, to enjoy and to joyfully watch the years unfold. Your home is where your heart is- it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
And best of all… IT IS ALL YOURS.
