Education Around The Mortgage Industry

Good Evening and happy Thursday to each and every one on you! Man oh man has this week been truly a fantastic one. I was able to catch up with some friends and family members as I mentioned in my previous blog, and bi did it bring me a great deal of joy. I actually received a call today from my aunt asking me about a mortgage for one of her second cousins. I told her due to confindentiality, I would have to speak with her cousin one on one. My aunt then replied, “That’s not a problem at all.” I will give her a call to inform her that you will be calling within the next 30 minutes or so, and then shoot you over a text with her contact info. I did just that. I called my aunt’s cousin about 25 minutes or so later and we talked for a great length of time. I asked questions around her goals while shopping for a mortgage, what she expected to accomplish on this wonderful adventure in purchasing her first home, and ideally what her overall current circumstances intel.
Education Around The Mortgage Industry: Finding Your Dream Home
She than began to explain that she had already found her dream home and now she just needs to find a mortgage provider whom will be consistent in getting everything approved and done. I asked why do you mention such a great detail around consistency with getting your mortgage approved? She then stated that she had a bankruptcy that won’t mark the 2 year bench until May of 2016. I said well that explains it all then. She looked at me and seemed a bit confused. I then explained that when shopping for a mortgage your bankruptcy has to be clear for a minimum of 2 years. I then asked, “Had anyone explained this to you?” She replied, “No, never!” I apologized on behalf of whom she had previously worked with. Sometimes being in a industry like real estate, people tend to focus on the short term goals, and if any obstacles stand in the way of their short term goals, they are pushed to the side. I explained that I assure you once this bankruptcy is clear and ready t go in May I will due my de dilligence to you, and work with you to obtain your dream home that you’ve been yearning for for such a long time. I could here it in her voice how excited she was to finally hear such great news. She was also relieved to finally know why the other loan officer hadn’t been returning her calls and just fell off the face of the earth. I apologized again and she said thank you Candice. You’ve helped me more in our 20 minute conversation than anyone has helped me through the year I’ve been trying to get this process done and over with. I definitely look forward to working with you in May, and I will be happy to promote your great customer service and tell everyone I know about this wonderful experience. I then thanked her as well and said I look forward to working with you too! Sometimes things aren’t going to come as easy as we may like them to be. Sometimes people are all not who they seem to be either. The most important thing is treating everyone equally at all times because you never know what that person can bring. Always treat everyone the same, and I promise the return will always be a greater one that you could have ever imagined! Until nest time world!
